Following your appointment, some mild reactions may occur. These can include redness, swelling, tenderness, or bruising at the treatment area. These responses are generally temporary and are considered a normal part of the body’s natural healing process.
However, if you experience any of the following symptoms, please contact your treating practitioner immediately or seek urgent medical attention:
• Severe or worsening pain
• A bruise that appears to be spreading or becoming mottled
• Blanching (whitening) of the skin
• Delayed capillary refill or signs of poor skin perfusion
• Any symptoms that concern you or feel outside what was discussed

AFTERCARE
• You can apply ice to the treated area to help with swelling and bruising
• Avoid alcohol and blood thinning medications for 24 hours post treatment (unless prescribed by a medical professional)
• Allow 2 weeks before refilling the treated area
